One person dies in crash

One person is dead after a colli- sion between a dump truck and a car north of Lindsay on Thursday afternoon. It hap- pened around 3 p.m. at City of Kawartha Lakes Road 36 and Snug Harbour Road after a northbound car and a south- bound dump truck collided, City of Kawartha Lakes Police said. The driver of the car died at the scene.
