One dead after shooting

Montreal police say a 20-year-old man has died following a shooting in the city’s east end Thursday evening. Officers were alerted by a 911 call for gunshots in the city’s Anjou district at about 7:15 p.m. Police found the victim in his vehicle with a gunshot wound to the upper body and he was transported to hospital, where he died early today. A 17- year-old boy was located nearby al- so suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was transported to hospital.
