$26K worth of metal stolen

City police are investigating after a $26,000 worth of raw metal was reported stolen from a Peterbor- ough business. Police believe the theft happened between 11:30 p.m. on Sunday and midnight on Monday at a business on Fisher Drive. Officers learned that a security gate lock had been cut and a large white van pulled into the back lot before leaving about 20 minutes later. A light-coloured SUV was also seen in the area around the same time.
