Gay student says school blocking leadership bid

A gay student who was suspended for leading protests against Florida’s so-called Don’t Say Gay legislation says administrators at Flagler Palm Coast High School are now stopping him from running for senior class president. Because of the disciplinary infractions, Jack Petocz, 17, is prevented from running for the elected student body office, he said in a Tuesday tweet.
