No printed 2023 calendar

The City of Peterborough’s beloved waste reduction and conservation calendar won’t be available in printed form for 2023, the city announced Thursday. The city plans to shift to a city-wide household organic waste collection program in the fall of 2023 and other yet-tobe-approved changes may be made to the city’s garbage, recycling and green waste collection program through the city’s upcoming waste management master plan, resulting in detailed information not being available in time to print the calendar. The print calendar has also traditionally showcased historical city photos. Instead the city will post the 2023 waste reduction and conservation calendar online at peterborough.ca/waste for residents to download and print. The city will be able to update the electronic version with new program information as it is approved.
