Deal reached for Trent staff

Negotiating teams for Trent University and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union Local 365 have reached a tentative settlement on a new collective agreement for more than 450 support staff workers at Trent’s Peterborough and Oshawa campuses. Both teams have agreed to recommend the tentative settlement to their respective parties, according to a press release from Trent. Terms of the deal are not being publicly released until after ratification votes by the union’s members and the university’s board of governors.
