Cocaine found on trail

A small amount of cocaine was found in the snow off a foot path in East City in Peterborough on Tuesday. City police were notified by several people walking in the area of a foot path near Maria Street about a suspicious item. Const. Robert Cowie and police dog Isaac searched the area and found the cocaine, police said. City police thanked the residents for calling about it and urged people to report any suspicious activity to city police at 705-876-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at stopcrimehere.ca.
